Sign up for Greener GMP, where you
can choose to buy renewable power. Green Mountain Power's overall power
mix is already low in fossil fuels, but now you can choose certified
renewable resources for all or a portion of your use. We've called the
program "Greener GMP" to reflect that greener choice.
When you sign up for GreenerGMP, Green Mountain Power
will purchase certified renewable energy from the Moretown landfill and
the Westminster Farm methane digester equal to the portion of
electricity you have designated.
Residential customers can choose to have Green Mountain
Power designate renewable resources equal to 25 percent, 50 percent, 75
percent or even 100 percent of their monthly use. Commercial and
industrial customers may designate any multiple of 10 percent. The
additional premium for Greener GMP is currently three cents per kilowatthour.
